Mathematics

Primary 4 – Primary 6

Upper Primary Mathematics is where conceptual gaps begin to show. Students who understand their topics can handle novel problems; those who have only memorised procedures hit a ceiling. Our programme is built to ensure every student has genuine command of the material — not just familiarity with it.

We target every mark band at PSLE, with particular emphasis on the higher-order problem solving questions that separate AL1 from AL2 and AL2 from AL3. Students leave each session knowing not just the answer but the thinking behind it.

What We Cover

Heuristics & Problem Solving

PSLE Mathematics rewards students who can choose the right strategy. We teach heuristics systematically — from drawing models and working backwards to making systematic lists.

Model Drawing

The Singapore bar model method is the backbone of P4–P6 problem solving. Students learn to draw precise models for fractions, ratios, percentages, and complex multi-step problems.

Algebra & Ratio

The transition from arithmetic to algebraic thinking begins in P6. We build that bridge carefully — ensuring students can handle ratio, rate, speed, and percentage problems with confidence.

Geometry & Data Analysis

Angles, area, perimeter, and volume — alongside graphs, averages, and data interpretation. We cover every topic with the depth that exam questions at the top mark range demand.
