Our Lower Secondary IP Mathematics programme ensures students keep up and stay ahead — not through drilling but through genuine conceptual mastery. We cover the Sec 1–2 IP syllabus with the precision and depth that sets students up for H2 Mathematics at A-Level.
What We Cover
Rigorous Algebra & Polynomials
IP Mathematics introduces algebra at a faster pace and greater depth than G3. We build fluency in expansion, factorisation, simultaneous equations, and algebraic manipulation so students are never held back by the mechanics.
Euclidean Geometry & Proofs
Formal geometric proofs are a hallmark of IP Mathematics. We train students to construct logical, step-by-step arguments for congruence, similarity, circle theorems, and angle relationships.
Functions & Graphs
IP Sec 1–2 introduces functions graphically and algebraically. Students learn to sketch, interpret, and transform quadratic and other functions — building the intuition that makes Sec 3–4 calculus accessible.
Trigonometry & Mensuration
Sine rule, cosine rule, and 3D applications appear earlier in IP programmes. We ensure students have both the conceptual grasp and the problem-solving fluency to handle these topics confidently.
